Earlier today, the RealClearPolitics average of the polls it studies fell to 39% – the lowest of his presidency.

And those are the high points for Biden. The authoritative Quinnipiac University poll put its presidential approval survey Wednesday at just 33% for Biden, tying his low for that outfit.
Then there was the Zogby Poll that showed Biden’s base caving in with women, suburbanites, and even union members deserting him.

@ZogbyAnalytics ‘It is almost summer, and the temperatures are heating up, but President Biden’s job approval continued to be chilly and underwater.’
What’s more, pollsters see nothing coming up in Biden’s future that can jar his approval ratings in a different direction. Friday’s announcement that inflation was at 8.6% is expected to deflate the public’s view of the president further.
RealClearPolitics said the president’s position is a politically dangerous one.
“President Obama’s job approval only dipped to 40% briefly, in the immediate aftermath of the botched Obamacare rollout, and it never dropped below 40%.
President Donald Trump’s job approval spent much of 2017 below this mark, but in the terrible Republican election year of 2018, it never fell this low,” read the analysis.
It added, “This is shaping up to be a worse environment than either of the last three midterms, all of which were nightmares for the party in power.”
